The ISSMGE Journal on Geotechnical Engineering Research is the flagship journal of the International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, publishing high quality original research on soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering. The ISSMGE is the oldest geotechnical engineering society in the world and has a long track record of publishing high quality research in international and regional conferences. The new journal complements the existing International Journal on Case Histories in Geoengineering so that the ISSMGE will have publication venues focused on both research and practice.
